Services carried out were high pressure water jetting, grit blasting, mechanical cleaning, specialist coatings and mechanical repairs to tunnel section.
The case study was the refurbishment of a tunnel section at the Dartford Tunnel.
The solution was to clean the tunnel to remove traffic deposit and clean defect areas, prepare sound and corroded areas and apply engineered Siloxane coating system.
The conclusion was the contract was completed to the Main Contractor's (Skanska) programme and to budget.
