SMS is very pleased to be able to announce it has recently been approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance to the quality standard National Highway Sector Scheme 19A

SMS has been operating in its specialised field since April 1978 offering our clients a variety of services for anti-corrosion preparation and finishes, either at their specified sites or in our own workshop facilities.

Over the years we have added many more skills and procedures to the services we offer and have also expanded our painting division and facilities management division.

Based in Kent but serving a wide area including London, the South East and the South West.

We have executed work on sites throughout the UK and overseas both as main contractors and sub-contractors and we have achieved the EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

Our objectives include completing work to programme, to budget and in accordance with the agreed requirements and contract specification.

We operate an ongoing training programme for all our employees, ensuring good business practices and safety are of paramount importance at all times. Only employees qualified to carry out specific procedures are employed in those areas and all have current certificates for each procedure.

Our employees are issued with a variety of quality safety and protective equipment depending on the procedures they undertake.

We have also attained the required standards for the Exor Supplier Accreditation Programme as a Gold Status member

We take responsibility for the affect our operations may have on the environment and take all practical steps to eradicate or minimise any adverse affects.
